Bugsy: Bugsy Siegel a mobster from New York is sent to California on mob business. Once there he falls in love with Virginia Hill. On a trip to Nevada he has a vision of a casino in the desert, and bringing the Hollywood stars there. He gets the mob to support the project but the budget goes wildly out of control. With Virginia skimming mob money from the project, Bugsy finds himself in a very difficult situation.
